• Page view counts (anonymous, no personal data)
• Basic usage analytics to improve the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, verification)
• To process payments for the Lifetime plan
• To display your public page to visitors

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate BuildGrid:

• Neon — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing
• UploadThing — image uploads

4. Public Information

Your BuildGrid page is public by design. Information you add to your page — including your display name, avatar, revenue data, projects, and updates — is visible to anyone who visits your page URL.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can export all your data as JSON from the Settings page. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data (via the data export feature)
• Correct inaccurate data (via the editor)
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Request information about how your data is processed

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and rate limiting to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
